Palatti China:Exploring Chongqing. Southwest University, Chongqing, China, 2007.

After the 2006 residence in Prishtina, Kosovo, PALATTI was invited by the Southwest University to work and exhibit in Chongqing, China. An opportunity to investigate the heartland of China attracted directly. For the obvious spell China has put on the Western mind, for the similarities and contrasts between Prishtina and Chongqing. Laying at the banks of the Yangtze, the Great River, Chongqing is the designated economic hub and area of growth of southwest China. The artists stayed 4 weeks, living on campus grounds, visiting artists studios, interacting with the students and engaging in lectures. The final week was characterized by an exhibition, presenting the works created during their stay..

This exhibition was followed up by a presentation in the Kunstvlaai 2008 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
